Mill Creek spirit week

Mill Creek spirit week is a week of school spirit. Community Service and Leadership planned spirit week in hopes to raise money for the penny wars. They were raising money by selling candy canes. You got half off candy canes if you dressed up. Casey O., 7th, said, “I like spirit week but not this one. What am I supposed to wear for winter sports day?”
Others love spirit week. Crystal K., 7th, said, “ I love spirit week! You don’t have to be a cheerleader to have school spirit!!”
Every morning people come in in their themed outfits. But does it get old? Casey said, ”Spirit week can get old. But I really like Homecoming spirit week. It would be cooler if we got to pick [the days]. Favorite Band day would be awesome! It would be cool to see what kind of music people like. But I am really looking forward to white out day! I am dressing up for candy cane day too!”
Crystal said, “I’m PUMPED for PJ day so I can wear my giddy little slippers! But yeah it can get old. Animal day would be so cool! I would dress up as a Snow Cheetah, even though it is not a real animal.“ So the opinions of spirit week are mixed.
