Is Diet Coke REALLY good for you?

Is Diet Coke really good for you, just because it's diet?  No, it's very bad for you.  It can't be good for your health.
Paddy H said, "Diet Coke is so gross!" Since he doesn't have a t.v. in his house he doesn't know about those commercials on t.v.  Others think it's a great refreshing drink.  Well I'm here to tell you that it is not.  Why, you ask?  It has carbonated water, which isn't too bad for you, but the other ingredients are caramel color, aspartame, phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate, citric acid, and lots of sweeteners. They are not good for your body.

It is also bad for your teeth.  According to the Mythbusters show, if you put one of your old teeth in Diet Coke it will disintegrate within 7 hours of the time you dropped it in the Diet Coke.  A list of drinks that will dissolve a tooth is Coke, Diet Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sprite, Gatorade, white wine, vodka, Budweiser, and Dr. Pepper.  Ones that do not dissolve a tooth are milk, water, Listerine, and orange juice.

Diet Coke also has slogans like "Just for the taste of it!" in 1982 and in 1995 and 2007 another is "light it up!" quoted by the Coca-cola company.  Why would they say "Just for the taste of it!" which is like saying who cares about weight and how you look?  "People think they were saying it tastes so good that you would drink it for that, let alone the fact that it is diet," said Jon B, 7th.  "Light it up!" makes you believe that it will make you lose weight and to light 'n' up/relax.  "Which is a lie!" said Nick C.  An appropriate slogan would be, "Do You Dare Drink It?"

The bottom line is that 8 out of 10 people like Diet Coke.
The person who chooses to drink Diet Coke is the one that decides whether or not they think it is healthy.  I'm saying that people should do some research on something before they put it in their body.  So if someone gave you drugs and said they were healthy would take them or say just NO?

I leave it up to you to choose! But what would you pick? To drink it or leave it on the store shelf?  Wink Wink - leave it on the store shelf!
