New Moon released

New Moon brought in over $140,000 on its opening weekend and 80% of the moviegoers were female. If you're a fan of the Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, or Taylor Lautner, you might want to listen up.
People have different opinions on which of the Twilight movies were better and if they even liked the movies at all. “The movies are bad and I never want to see another one,” said Jared J., 7th grader. However, most of the people I asked said that New Moon was better than Twilight.
There is a rumored romance of Kristen and Robert and Taylor and Taylor Swift. The 'rumored romance' of Taylor and Taylor Swift isn't really rumored any more. Both of the Taylors have commented on it, but it seems like Taylor the dude is doing most of the talking. Taylor L hosted Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago and his opening monologue was about what he wanted to do to Kanye West the night of the VMA awards. There are also a lot of pictures of both of the Taylors together, but recently, the two Taylors broke up.
Another rumor is that Kristen and Robert are going out. The rumors started a while ago when they were flirting in an interview. There were also spotted going out together and pictures were taken. Other than that, there really hasn't been a lot of evidence of a relationship.
Another big thing going on with the characters of the Twilight Saga is picking teams. I asked Grace M. in 8th grade if she was Team Jacob or Team Edward. Grace said, “Jacob was the only thing that got me through those dumb movies.” Grace also said that after New Moon came out, she thought most people were Team Jacob. When I asked what their favorite part in New Moon was, most girls said that it was when Jacob took off his shirt to help Bella with her head.
Last year, after Twilight came out, there was a rumor that Taylor Lautner was being replaced by Michael Copon because Michael was more manly and more fit for the part of Jacob in New Moon. Later, Taylor proved to be very manly. He put on 30 pounds of muscle in order to keep his part of Jacob.
There was also a change in the director of the movie. The old director, Catherine Hardwicke, was replaced because she wanted too much time off between movies. The Twilight director was replaced with Chris Weitz for New Moon.
