Stucchi's vs Dairy Queen
June 7, 2010
Have you ever wondered whether you should go to Dairy Queen or Stucchi's?  Well they're both delicious ice cream shops but they're different from each other as well.  Stucchi's has hard served and soft served ice cream, as well as many different types of sundaes. Dairy Queen has soft served ice cream and they make blizzards as well as moolattes and other drinks.  Personally we think that Stucchi's is better.

Eden K., 8th, says, “I like Stucchi's better because they have different flavors than most of the other ice cream shops.  Dairy Queen is good too, but if I had to chose I would rather go to Stucchi's.”

At Dairy Queen, there are many types of blizzards but some of them are chocolate chip cookie dough, Snickers, Heath, M&M, Butterfingers, Oreo, double fudge cookie dough and many more!  Stucchi's, however, has many different flavors of hard served ice cream. Some of them are butter pecan, carmel toffee, chocolate, mint chip, mocha almond fudge, peanut butter truffle shuffle and many more. This is why Stucchi's is better!  Natalie W., 8th, says, “I like the Blueberry Cheesecake ice cream from Stucchi's, though I like the blizzards from Dairy Queen.”

Things that people disagree about could be the price.  Joe M., 8th, thinks that Dairy Queen is better because Stucchi's is expensive. You could pay up to $3.00 for one scoop at Stucchi's, but it has a better flavor. Stucchi's also has fewer calories and is healthier.  Katelyn H., 8th, says, “Stucchi's is better than Dairy Queen because their ice cream has less calories.”

So if you ever have to decide whether to go to Stucchi's or Dairy Queen, you should choose Stucchi's!
