Taylor Swift is awesome!

It has become obvious that Taylor Swift is just about the best musician and singer ever. She is also one of the best songwriters today. Overall, I personally believe that Taylor Swift is pretty much the greatest artist in the history of music.
Taylor Swift has so many good songs. She's definitely not your normal one hit wonder. She has numerous popular songs on her hit album Fearless including songs like "Fifteen," "Love Story," "White Horse," and of course "You Belong With Me." " 'You Belong With Me' is my favorite song, because she sings like an angel in it," said 8th grade student Graham N. She has also done lots of songs with other artists including John Mayer and Boys Like Girls.
Taylor Swift has been racking up the awards lately. Not only was she the AMA Artist of the Year and CMA Entertainer of the Year, she won Video of the Year at the CMT Awards, and she won the Female Video of the Year award at the VMA's. She even won a total of five awards at the AMA's, beating Michael Jackson. So even though I'm not so sure if all of those awards are based on people voting, if it is then I'd say that she is just about the most popular artist today.
Taylor Swift has also been doing lots of things outside of singing recently. On November 7th, she was both the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. And in my opinion, she was really funny. And let's not forget the constant rumors about her dating Jacob from Twilight whose real name is Taylor Lautner. And while I always appreciate a good celeb couple, if they got married then they would have the same name, which I cannot live with.
Of course, with every hero of the world, there has to be a villain. For Taylor Swift, that villain is Kanye West. If you're not familiar with the VMA incident, when Swift won the award for Best Female Video, while receiving her trophy, West stormed up onto the stage and proceeded to say how Beyonce should've won instead of Swift. “He has no right to butt into someone’s speech bubble, like saying you're ugly!” said 8th grader Ben S. I mean this is just ridiculous. Hey, Kanye, this is just out of line! No one said anything when you started dressing ridiculously! Well they did, but they didn't burst up on your stage and take your microphone. So I encourage you! Not Kanye but you! Go egg Kanye! Not Kanye’s house, KANYE!
